Vietnam is an ancient land with thousands of years of history. The land in Vietnam is mostly hilly with dense forests and mountains providing panoramic scenery for miles. The climate varies dramatically from place to place and can be dry and humid, wet, and sometimes very cold. Vietnam has always relied on its farming and agriculture as its main source of income but tourists have begun visiting the country for its diverse history, fascinating culture, and amazing scenery.
As you begin your journey along palm-lined white sandy beaches your expert guide will provide full commentary on the history and culture of Vietnam. Your first stop will be Ponagar Tower. The Ponagar Tower was built between the 8th and 13th centuries under the Panduranga dynasty of the Champa ancient kingdom. You will explore the history of Cham culture.
Continue to visit Long Son Pagoda, which is known as the oldest temple in Nha Trang. This place is home to the world's biggest Buddha statue, according to the Guinness Book of World Records for Vietnam. Due to its sophisticated beauty, the pagoda has attracted a lot of tourists every year.
Return to the city center to visit Dam Market. You will find a huge market complex which has room for 6,000 shoppers! You will have plenty of time to meet with locals and stallholders and browse their colorful wares. There are many souvenirs and traditional craft stands where you can pick up a bargain or two.
The tour will then continue on to the Truong Son Village. Here you will find magnificent driftwood works, watch the local people knitting fishing nets weaving, weaving mats, creating conical hats, and much more. In addition to traditional items, the locals here have also developed stunning ornamental products from sedge mats and fishing nets. Here, you also may see enormous creatures knitted by plastic. Truong Son Craft Village also shows numerous pieces of art by prominent artists in Nha Trang.
You will have some free time for shopping before heading back to the ship.

- Some of the sites are not accessible to wheelchairs or can be extremely challenging. Therefore, we would recommend a private tour for a more relaxed experience.
- Bring sun cream, sunglasses, and a sun hat, as at times on this tour it can get unseasonably hot
- It is recommended to drink plenty of water.
- Wear comfortable footwear for this tour as there is some walking on uneven ground, inclines and steps
- Bring your fully charged camera, to capture wonderful memories on the day.
