MYANMAR VISA
OVERVIEWA Myanmar visa is an official permit issued by the government of Myanmar that allows foreign nationals to enter the country.
Visitors may only apply for a
single-entry visa to enter Myanmar for a maximum of 28 days as the government does not issue multi-entry visas. Those who wish to spend longer in the country will have to leave and begin a new Myanmar tourist visa application.
MYANMAR VISA EXEMPTIONCitizens from 8 countries do not require a visa to enter Myanmar for tourism and business visits for up to 14 days: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
MYANMAR VISA PROCESSApart from those exempted from visa requirements, visitors from other countries must obtain a Myanmar visa before departure by applying:

1. Go to the official Myanmar e-visa website at
https://evisa.moip.gov.mm/2. Fill out the online visa form with all required information
3. Confirm and pay for the visa using a credit card
4. Wait for an approval letter via email, which can take at least three working days
5. Print out the approval letter and bring it with your passport when you arrive in Myanmar
6. Present the approval letter and passport to an immigration officer at the Myanmar Immigration checkpoint to get your passport stamped
A Myanmar E-visa costs USD$50.00. The fee is non-refundable.
Here are some things to keep in mind when applying for a Myanmar e-visa:
⦁ Your passport must be valid for at least six months
⦁ You must upload a color photo taken within the last three months
⦁ You must upload your passport bio-data page
⦁ You must provide a hotel confirmation letter and return air ticket
⦁ You must choose a port of entry
⦁ You must provide the name and address of your selected accommodation in Myanmar
⦁ You are not allowed to engage in any other paid or unpaid work during your visit, apart from the profession stated in your visa application
⦁ You must abide by the laws of Myanmar and not interfere in its internal affairs
⦁ You must not travel to restricted areas without prior permission
⦁ The approval letter is not a confirmed visa letter and is only valid for up to 90 days from the date of issue
⦁ If your application is rejected, you will not be given or able to request a reason

2. VISA ON ARRIVALPassport holder from the following countries and Taiwan are eligible to apply for Visa on Arrival:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, China, Canada, Cambodia, Czech, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, DPRK, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Norway, New Zealand, Netherlands, Nepal, Poland, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, UK, USA, Ukraine and Vietnam.The Required Terms and Conditions for VISA ON ARRIVAL (Tourist Visa)The applicant shall:
⦁ Have a valid passport not expiring for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Myanmar.
⦁ Bring two recent (4cm x 6cm) color photos taken within the past six months.
⦁ Permitted for tourism purpose only.
⦁ Duration of stay cannot be extended.
⦁ Shall abide by the existing laws, rules, procedures, orders and directives issued by Myanmar Government.
⦁ Allow to travel the places where foreigners are allowed to visit except from the restricted areas.
⦁ Entry will be dined if the respective security agency and immigration department make the discoing not allow to entry.
⦁ Travelers those who enter through International Airport by Visa on Arrival (Tourist Visa) are allowed to exit through any one of the International entry/exit points.
Visa fee in US $50 will be charged and the applicants are permitted to stay in Myanmar for 30 days.

Obtain Visa on Arrival application form from the respective airlines and the official website
www.mip.gov.mm and apply at Visa on Arrival Counter of
Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport and Nay Pyi Taw International Airport by submitting the application form.
