Uncover the cultural gems of Northern Thailand on a 3-day, 2-night journey through Chiang Rai and the legendary Golden Triangle. Begin with a relaxing evening in Chiang Rai before exploring its vibrant local markets, sacred temples like Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Phra Singh, and the uniquely artistic Baan Dam (Black House). Cruise along the Mae Kok River to a nearby Karen village, where you can witness local life and interact with elephants. On the final day, travel to Chiang Saen – an ancient city on the banks of the Mekong – and visit the House of Opium Museum. Conclude your adventure with a scenic boat ride through the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. This tour offers a rich blend of cultural discovery, art, history, and tranquil river experiences..
DAY 1: CHIANG RAI ARRIVAL (-/-/-)
Upon arrival in Chiang Rai, get your own free time for relaxing or just strolling around in the city.

DAY 2: CHIANG RAI CITY (B/-/-)
 Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Lunch on your own account and afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.

- Wat Phra Singh – Baan Dam: 7 miles -> 20 minute driving transfer
DAY 3: CHIANG RAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
 After breakfast, drive to visit Chiang Saen the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank. After that, visit to House of Opium museum where show about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. Have lunch by your own account at the local restaurant at the Golden triangle. Taking a boat trip along Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle before transferring back to Chiang Rai for departure flight.
