Explore Myanmar, Vietnam & Cambodia in the 15-day journey that takes you to visit the highlights of Indochina. First, begin your trip in Myanmar with Yangon – the former capital city, Bagan – one of the world's greatest archaeological sites, and the unique watery world of Inle Lake. Continue to Vietnam where the elegant city of Hanoi, legendary Halong Bay and peaceful town of Hoian awaits for you. Finish your adventure in Cambodia’s most visited city: Siem Reap with mysterious Angkor Temples. One of the great pleasures of a tour that combines three of the Indochina nations is the remarkable contrasts of culture, cuisine, scenery and atmosphere that unfold as your journey moves on.
DAY 1: YANGON ARRIVAL (-/-/D)
Mingalabar! Your guide and driver will welcome you at the airport and take you directly to your hotel. Your highlight for this evening is dinner in Karaweik Palace, overlooking to the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower. A meal of fine Burmese food will be served followed by a beautiful cultural show of music and dancing.

DAY 2: YANGON – FLY TO BAGAN (B/-/-)
Today, take a morning flight to Bagan. Bagan is Myanmar’s archaeological wonderland, where over 2,000 ancient temples blossom from the countryside.
Upon arrival, start your tour from the bustling Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan then explore the beautiful, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions. Continue your tour with a visit to Ananda Temple, stopping along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. In the afternoon, take a tour of a local lacquer ware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made.
We offer a beautiful sunset cruise on Ayeyarwaddy River for today, you could observe the lifestyle of fishermen and riverside villages, as well as enjoying the unique views of Bagan’s temples from the river.

DAY 3: BAGAN SIGHTSEEING (B/-/-)
After breakfast, enjoy an exotic horse cart ride to one of the biggest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda and many other interesting sites nearby. Continue with sightseeing to Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, take note of the architectural difference in MyaZedi Pagoda before heading to Manuha Temple. The highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view over Bagan

DAY 4: BAGAN – FLY TO INLE LAKE – SIGHTSEEING (B/-/-)
Leave Bagan for Heho today. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar is located 900 meters above sea level and is home to the Intha people, famous for their one leg rowing technique.
Upon arrival, board a motorboat for a sightseeing tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and believed to be the holiest pagoda in Inle Lake. Our next stop is Ngaphechaung Monastery. As you travel closer to Nam Pan Village, have a look at cotton and lotus weaving factories and cigar making houses. These sites will give you a true sense of traditional Intha life.

DAY 5: INLE LAKE – INDEIN – INLE LAKE (B/-/-)
This morning, visit the “5 Day Market” which is held in different villages surrounding the lake. This is definitely a fascinating place to enjoy the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and exotic market atmosphere.
After lunch, the boat will take you to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It is relaxing to walk along the corridors and enjoy the giant columns that have been left to the nature for centuries.

DAY 6: INLE LAKE – FLY TO YANGON – CITY TOUR (B/-/-)
Take the morning flight back to Yangon. Spend the rest of day exploring Yangon and its highlights from Sule Pagoda, in the heart of Yangon city; Chaukhtayi Pagoda then shopping time at the bustling Scott Market (Closes on Monday and some specific holidays). Save the best for last, discover the most outstanding pagoda in Yangon: Shwedagon Pagoda, known as the “Golden Pagoda”, a real must see while you are in Myanmar.

DAY 7: YANGON CITY TOUR – FLY TO HANOI (B/-/-)
This morning, transfer to Yangon Railways station to take a unique ride on the city’s circular train ride through the outskirts of town. The slowly traveling train gives you unique opportunity to enjoy observing the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people.
Disembark after 45 minutes – 1 hour in Insein township. One of the city’s best fresh markets is here, filled with vendors and piles of colorful items for sale. Spend time walking amid the stalls examining the fruits, produce and meats on sale as well as chatting with the friendly locals.
Transfer by car back to the city Centre of Yangon. Take a short walking tour through Chinatown and Little India, two fabulously diverse and vibrant neighborhoods of Yangon. You’ll see street markets, snack vendors and many places of worship as you walk along the street.
After lunch time, our driver will escort you to Yangon airport for a flight to Hanoi

DAY 8: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/-/-)
Today is a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. Start with a visit to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam. Follow it with one of the city’s museums (a choice between the Hoa Lo Prison, the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). In the afternoon, transfer to the Ba Dinh Square, where stands the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, who led Vietnam to its independence from French colonial rule. This site has become an important city landmark and a perfect place to learn more about Vietnam’s rich history. From there, wander through the beautiful surrounding gardens toward the One Pillar Pagoda and Presidential Palace, where a replica of Ho Chi Minh’s simple working space is on display.
Later, hop on a cyclo, one of the most typical vehicles in Hanoi, is a human-powered transport with a seat at the front for passengers and the driver at the back. With this an hour leisurely ride, which is perfect chance for photos and slow-moving sightseeing, you will have a great local touch. Disembark at the ancient city gate of O Quan Chuong, then continue walking to Thanh Ha local market and through bustling streets & alleys.

DAY 9: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, get picked-up for a 2.5-hour drive to mystical Halong Bay. With its jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters, Halong Bay is among the most popular tourism destinations in Vietnam. It is also voted as one of seven World Natural Wonders and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, embark and being greeted by our boat crew and captain. Check-in at your en-suite cabin and get refreshment before returning to the main restaurant. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as you sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Tonkin Gulf (weather permits). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.

DAY 10: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLY TO DA NANG – HOI AN (Br/-/-)
Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Halong City. Your driver will meet you at the dock and take you to Noi Bai Airport of Hanoi for your in-country flight to Da Nang.

DAY 11: HOIAN COOKING CLASS – WALKING TOUR (B/L/-)
This morning take part in a cooking class at the Red Bridge Cooking School. Meet at the Hai Scout Cafe in Hoian’s Old Town. From there we will head to Hoian’s colorful market. Explore the market and interact with local vendors to purchase some fresh ingredients for today’s cooking class. Next, board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely 25min cruise along the Hoian River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. Discover the school’s herb and vegetable garden. Learn to cook and help prepare five traditional dishes to enjoy for lunch. You will also be entertained and taught some special techniques at the fruit and vegetable carving demonstration.
Enjoy an afternoon walking tour through the narrow, winding streets of the ancient quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. Conclude the day with a relaxing sunset boat trip.

DAY 12: HOIAN – DANANG – FLY TO SIEM REAP (B/-/-)
Today you will visit Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) on the way to Danang International Airport. Take a regional flight to Siem Reap. Siem Reap with very famous Angkor is the earthly representation of Mt. Meru, the Mt. Olympus of the Hindu faith and the abode of ancient gods. The temples are the perfect fusion of creative ambition and spiritual devotion. The Cambodian ‘god-kings’ of old each strove to better their ancestors in size, scale and symmetry, culminating in the world’s largest religious building, Angkor Wat.
Check in the hotel. Free time for taking a walking around center area which very busy. Siem Reap is a nice town and deserves a good exploration. The night markets are highlights of the town.

DAY 13: DISCOVER ANGKOR TEMPLES (B/-/-)
Wake up early to be transferred for picking up the most beautiful, haunting and spiritual moment to visit magnificent Angkor Wat at dawn. This special activity is designed also to help you see “the Temple reflex on the water” when it’s much cooler and less crowded. Angkor Wat, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was constructed by Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and dedicated them to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys and ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction.
Our journey continues with visiting South Gate of Angkor Thom, with its majestic doors and artifacts. From here, head to monumental temple of Bayon which is the heart of Angkor Thom. Later, visit the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and Takeo “Jewel of Crystal”, which is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century. You should not miss Ta Prohm Temple, which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty with its giant trees that have grown there for centuries. You may have your lunch at local restaurant near Srah Srong on your own account but we suggest the reservation.

DAY 14: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – KAMPONG PHLUK (B/-/-)
This morning, we have arranged for you a trip to Banteay Srei, home to Angkor’s finest stone carvings, followed by Preah Khan (Sacred Sword): one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII. Return to Siem Reap town for lunch (own expense)
After lunch, we leave Siem Reap for 1.5-2 hours’ drive to Kampong Phluk – a floating village on the Tonle Sap. We will take a boat trip through the houses on stilts, canals and mangroves. It is really unique experience that exposes you to the hardships and tribulations facing the locals on a day to day basis. Enjoy the sunset over the lake before transfer back to hotel where you spend the rest of time on your own.
