Start from Chiang Mai and explore the stunning soil pillar formations of Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten at Mae Wang National Park. Spend a night under the stars at Ob Luang National Park before venturing into the tranquil town of Mae Sariang, nestled among rice fields and local markets. Cruise down the Salawin River along the Myanmar border, visiting remote villages and experiencing the blend of Burmese and Karen cultures. Conclude your journey at Doi Inthanon National Park – the highest peak in Thailand, where lush forests, waterfalls, hill tribe villages, and scenic farmlands offer a perfect farewell to Northern Thailand's untouched beauty. This off-the-beaten-path adventure is ideal for nature lovers and cultural explorers seeking authenticity and serenity.
DAY 1: CHIANG MAI – MAE WANG NATIONAL PARK – OB LUANG NATIONAL PARK (-/L/-)
Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and depart for Mae Wang National Park in Doi Lor, a small quiet town approximately 1.30 hrs for visit Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten, Thailand Grand Canyon. Rock sculptures at Pha Chor and Khew Sua Ten are a natural phenomenon of eroded soil pillars. It is believed that this used to be the Ping River watercourse. When the river changed route the site became a hill from the river sediment that piled up into layers. When time passed, it eroded and became cliffs and soil pillars of strange shapes. The passing of time can change the topography of a place and can create wonderful things. Pha Chor pillars are thirty meters high around a canopy of forest and cover a large area. “Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten” is still unknown and unseen in Thailand. Take a mini trek about two hours to see and explore beautiful nature at Pha Chor and Kew Sua Ten. Have a picnic lunch in the jungle area among the embrace of the nature. After visiting Pha Chor we will drive to Ob Laung National Park to stay overnight in the park.
Note: The Obluang National park is closed for two months from 1st March until 30th April every year.

DAY 2: OB LUANG NATIONAL PARK – MAE SARIANG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, continue driving to Mae Sariang which is a charming and quiet town in Mae Hong Son province. The town is relatively unknown to the majority of tourists and is situated in a lovely valley surrounded by the rice fields, in a very productive farming community. On the way we will make stops for you to experience local lifestyles and see the people selling their vegetables, mushrooms and insects, depending on the season. When arrive in Mae Sariang visit the very famous and unique temples of the city such as Chom Thong Temple which is situated on a high point on the edge of the town and has a stunning view of the town, river valley and beautiful surrounding countryside. Lunch served in Mae Sariang. Check in at your local hotel. Wander around the village meeting the local community by yourself.

DAY 3: MAE SARIANG – SALAWIN NATIONAL PARK – MYANMAR BORDER (B/L/-)
After an easy breakfast at home, we drive along winding mountain roads passing through stunning vistas. After about an hour drive, we arrive at Mae Sam Laep a Thai – Myanmar border village. The village is inhabited by Burmese and Karen people and you will feel and experience the Burmese culture. This village is inhabited by Burmese and Karen People and when you are here you will feel Burmese culture. We first explore the village by a visit to Border School. Then take a boat trip down Salawin river which divides Myanmar and Thailand. Along the way there are some views of impressive mountains and the riverbanks which form the border between the two countries. Visit Ban Tha Ta Fang Karen village, then return back by boat to Mae Samlaeb village. After lunch we drive back to the hotel to for relaxing.

DAY 4: MAE HONG SON – DOI INTHANON – CHIANG MAI (B/L/-)
Morning heading South to Mae Chaem, visit Doi Inthanon national park (Thailand’s highest mountain of over 2,565 meters) Admire the stunning views of the peaks, and enjoy walking along the nature trail for a while, and then visit the beautiful architecture of Royal Pagodas Napamaytanidol and Phra Mahatat Napaphon Bhumisiri which build to commemorate the king’s and queen’s 60th birthdays, and enjoy the beautiful of Royal flower garden around the place. Continue to visit hill tribe market where they sell their own product from farm, such as flowers, vegetable etc. Visit Wachiratharn Waterfalls one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand, which has water throughout the year. Arrive in Chiang Mai transfer to the hotel or airport.
