Today we have a morning flight to Bagan. Bagan is Myanmar’s archaeological wonderland & newly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where over 2,000 ancient temples blossom from the countryside. Start your tour with a trip to the bustling Nyang U Market in Old Bagan then explore the beautiful, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions and Wetki-In Gubyaukgyi cave temple, Htilominlo temple and nearby temples. The tour continues with a visit to Ananda Temple before take a horse cart to nearby temples such as Dhammayan Gyi, That bin Nyu, Sulamani ect.
Later, in the afternoon, you will enjoy the sunset time at one of hills in the zone.

After breakfast, you will enjoy another day exploring Bagan. Drive and visit the best highlighted temples in the zone such as MyaZedi Pagoda, Minkaba Gubyaukyi, Manuha Temple, Nan Paya Pagoda and many other interesting sites nearby. Continue with sightseeing to Myinkaba village, Minnanthu village ect.
In the late afternoon, head for a short cruise along the Irrawaddy River at sunset.

Today, take 4-hour drive to Mandalay in the morning. On arrival, meet our local guide in Mandalay and the tour will start to explore the city, visiting Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery: noted for its exquisite wood carvings, gold leaf beating workshop, Kuthodaw Pagoda: known to hold the world largest book, then conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the Burmese sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

DAY 5: MANDALAY – AMARAPURA – SAGAING – AVA (B/-/-)
Start the day early before dawn to catch the first rays of sunlight over Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type. It is a perfect time to avoid the crowd, who mostly come in the late afternoon.
Return the hotel for breakfast before drive to Amarapura. Being famous for Mahagandaryone Monastery. Amarapura is the best place to experience the monk life in Mandalay. Every day at mid–morning, monks and novices line up silently to receive their daily offering of alms and food from faithful Buddhists.
Next, head to Sagaing, discover the monk education, visit Budda cave, Uminthonze pagoda and Sunooponnyashin pagoda. Behold the panoramic view of Mandalay.
We then cross the river by ferry to Inwa (Ava), situated on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Once a royal capital, Inwa is now a quiet rural oasis. Enjoy a horse cart ride around the peaceful countryside, visiting Bagaya Kyaung, a beautiful teak wood monastery, Maha Aungmyay Bonzan Kyaung, and Nan Myint tower.

Leave Mandalay for Heho. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar is located 900 meters above sea level and is home to the Intha people, famous for their one leg rowing technique.
Upon arrival, board a motorboat for a sightseeing tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and believed to be the holiest pagoda in Inle Lake. Our next stop is Ngaphechaung Monastery. As you travel closer to Nam Pan Village, have a look at cotton and lotus weaving factories and cigar making houses. These sites will give you a true sense of traditional Intha life.

After lunch, the boat will take you to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It is relaxing to walk along the corridors and enjoy the giant columns that have been left to the nature for centuries.

DAY 10 HANOI CITY TOUR (B/-/-)
Today you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique folk art that originated a thousand years ago during the Ly dynasty. A water puppet show depicts the daily activities in Vietnamese rural life as well as important historical events and ancient legends. Each water puppet is hand-carved and given five layers of lacquer paint to protect the puppets from the water and to add vital colors to the performance.

Spend 24 hours on a traditional Junk Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk. Savor a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as sailing out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as we navigate back to Halong City. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong pier. Your driver will meet you at the dock and take you to Noi Bai Airport of Hanoi for your in-country flight to Hue. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you and take you to your hotel.

Later, you are touring the Vietnam’s former ancient capital. Start the day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City – once the Emperor’s private residence. The Imperial City was created in the 19th century and modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Imperial Enclosure houses many palaces and temples within its walls. In the afternoon, continue on your tour stopping at the Imperial Museum, vibrant Dong Ba riverside market.

DAY 14: HUE – DANANG – HOIAN – WALKING TOUR (B/-/-)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting on your drive to Hoian. Stop en route in Lang Co Bay, a long white-sand beach with blue seawater which offers great view of a peaceful fishing village with boats sailing in Lap An lagoon and flocks of storks flying back to their nests at dusk. Pass over the epic Hai Van pass or Pass of the Cloud, a spectacular mountain passes between Hue and Hoian, with views of the East Vietnam Sea on one side and the lush mountainous landscape on the other. Later, take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. End the day with a relaxing sunset boat trip.

DAY 18: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – CAN THO (B/L/-)
In Southern Vietnam, Mekong River unravels into nine sprawling rivers, forming the fertile Mekong Delta. It’s here the river rules. Daily life flows with the ever-changing waters, fisheries thrive during the annual flood and rice fields are quickly dug as the waters recede.
Depart Ho Chi Minh City after breakfast, driving two-hours to reach Cai Be in the heart of the Mekong Delta for one of the highlights of the tour – a cruise on the mighty Mekong River and the chance to witness life on and around the water of the “Nine Dragon River”. Board a traditional wooden sampan boat around the Cai Be Floating Market, a commercial spectacle established in the 19th century. Marvel at boats replete with exotic produce and interact with locals in order to discover more about their stock. Next, disembark and stroll to the coconut candy factory to discover the manufacturing process of the sweet treats, as well as puffed rice – the local equivalent of popcorn.
A delicious home-cooked Vietnamese meal will be served for lunch in a local family. Then take a walk through their fruit orchard to see the fresh seasonal fruits on the trees and listen to melodious Vietnamese folk music known as “Don Ca Tai Tu“.
Reboard the boat through the narrow canals around the island, appreciating the tranquility and lush landscapes of this part of the Delta, to Vinh Long. Drive to the largest city in the Mekong Delta: Can Tho, a buzzing town with a lively waterfront and a colorful mix of narrow back streets that make for some rewarding exploration. Rest of the day, you may like to walking along Ninh Kieu Park and on a pedestrian bridge of Can Tho City.

Then venture deeper into the country-side, passing traditional houses made of wood and palm leaves as you observe the activities of the local people, and sample the fresh, exotic fruit. Return to Ninh Kieu quay in Can Tho around 10 A.M. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City’s airport for your regional flight to Siem Reap.

Enjoy an entire day dedicated to discovering the mysterious Angkor temples. Wake before dawn and take a “tuk–tuk” ride to visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest Khmer temple and finest example of Angkorian art and architecture. Return to hotel for breakfast or you can ask the hotel to prepare breakfast box then set back out on the tour to visit Bantey Kdei, the jungle–entwined temple, Ta Prohm. From there you will proceed to Preah Khan, the impressive Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King. Conclude your day with a visit to the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone before transferring back to the hotel.

In the morning, visit head to Kbal Spean, one of the most complete complex at Angkor, restored with the method of the anastylosis. Built under the reign of Suryavarman II during the mid-12th century, its unique feature is the interior moat covered with a laterite paving. Not very touristic, you should appreciate its peaceful atmosphere.
Then in the afternoon, continue to stop at Preah Khan (Sacred Sword): one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII. Then drive 35km to Banteay Srei temple, the birthplace of classical Khmer architecture. Then visit local market for the last minute shopping.
