DAY 1: MANDALAY ARRIVAL (-/-/D)

DAY 2: MANDALAY SIGHTSEEING (B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery – noted for its exquisite wood carvings, gold leaf beating workshop, Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world biggest book. Next, head to Sagaing, discover the monk education, visit Budda cave, Uminthonze pagoda and Sunooponnyashin pagoda. Behold the panoramic view of Mandalay.
We then cross the river by ferry to Inwa (Ava), situated on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Once a royal capital, Inwa is now a quiet rural oasis. Enjoy a horse cart ride around the peaceful countryside, visiting Bagaya Kyaung, a beautiful teak wood monastery, Maha Aungmyay Bonzan Kyaung, and Nan Myint tower.
End of the day, walk over Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type to Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself. Enjoy great sunset view here.

DAY 3: MANDALAY – BAGAN – SIGHTSEEING (B/-/-)
After breakfast at hotel, you travel to Bagan by car. The drive takes around 4.5 hours through highway.
In the afternoon, visit one of the biggest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda and many other interesting sites nearby The highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view over Bagan plain.

DAY 4: BAGAN DISCOVERY (B/-/-)
Start your tour with a trip to the bustling Nyang U Market in Old Bagan then explore the beautiful, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions. We continue our tour with a visit to Ananda Temple, stopping along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples.
In the afternoon, take a tour of a local lacquer ware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made.

DAY 5: BAGAN – FLY TO INLE LAKE (B/-/-)
Leave Bagan for Heho today. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar is located 900 meters above sea level and is home to the Intha people, famous for their one leg rowing technique.
Upon arrival, our tour guide will welcome you and take you to Nyaung Shwe where you board a motorboat for a sightseeing tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and believed to be the holiest pagoda in Inle Lake. Our next stop is Ngaphechaung Monastery. As you travel closer to Nam Pan Village, have a look at cotton and lotus weaving factories and cigar making houses. These sites will give you a true sense of traditional Intha life.

This morning, visit the “5 Day Market” which is held in different villages surrounding the lake. This is definitely a fascinating place to enjoy the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and exotic market atmosphere.
After lunch, the boat will take you to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It is relaxing to walk along the corridors and enjoy the giant columns that have been left to the nature for centuries.

DAY 7: INLE LAKE – FLY TO YANGON – CITY TOUR (B/-/-)
Today, take the morning flight to Yangon. Spend the rest of day exploring Yangon and its highlights from Sule Pagoda, in the heart of Yangon city; Chaukhtayi Pagoda then shopping time at the bustling Scott Market (Closes on Monday and some specific holidays). Save the best for last, discover the most outstanding pagoda in Yangon: Shwedagon Pagoda, known as the “Golden Pagoda”, a real must see while you are in Myanmar.

Start with a visit to Saigon’s China Town, then learn about traditional Vietnamese medicine at the FITO Museum and browse through the amazing array of goods at Ben Thanh Market. Stop for lunch then continue on the city tour with a visit to the War Remnants museum and former Presidential Palace. You conclude the day exploring the city’s French colonial architecture, stopping at the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office.

DAY 10: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA (CAI BE) – CAN THO (B/L/-)
Today you leave Saigon and travel to the Mekong River Delta. Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before driving to the riverside town, Cai Be. Along the way, stop at a candy factory and orchard garden, where you have an opportunity to listen to traditional music. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a riverside restaurant, then cross the river by motorized boat to visit some fluvial islands and explore the countryside by bicycle. Your driver will meet you at Vinh Long pier and take you to Can Tho City for the night.

DAY 11: CAN THO – FLOATING MARKET – CHAU DOC (B/-/-)
Wake early and leave the hotel to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market by motorized boat. This is a great opportunity to get fantastic photos of colorful boats laden with fruit and vegetables. Boats are filled with teetering piles of fruit and vegetables, from carefully balanced watermelons, to bright flowers. Then venture deeper into the country-side, passing traditional houses made of wood and palm leaves as you observe the activities of the local people, and sample the fresh, exotic fruit. Return to Ninh Kieu quay in Can Tho around 10 A.M. Check out the hotel then drive to Chau Doc for overnight stay.

DAY 12: TRA SU MANGROVE FOREST (B/-/-)
In the morning you are picked up at the hotel and we drive to the nearby Tra Su forest preserve. This area is located about 20 kilometers away from Chau Doc and covers an area of approximately 850 hectares. Here you can find a wide variety of colorful birds and other animals: storks, bats, snakes, turtles. Particularly, the interesting point is the birds who can walk on water, due to their low body weight they don’t sink through the densely grown floating habitats.
The tour through the floating habitats are by motorboat, rowing boat and on foot. From a high viewing platform, you have a beautiful view over the surrounding mountains, the width of the mangrove forests and the numerous birds.
Return to your hotel where you spend the night.

DAY 13: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH BY SPEED BOAT (B/-/-)
After breakfast, check-out the hotel then travels by speedboat up the Mekong to Cambodia’s capital: Phnom Penh. The total trip takes about four and a half hours (including visa formalities). Visas are easily obtained at the border between Vietnam and Cambodia and cost (including the processing fee). Your guide will meet you at the dock in Phnom Penh and take you to the hotel. Despite its recent turbulent history, Phnom Penh’s wide tree-lined boulevards and faded colonial mansions hold an undeniable charm. After lunch at a downtown restaurant, visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious ‘Killing Fields’ of Choeung Ek. A visit to these sights provides a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge.

After breakfast, you will explore the city key sites, first with the National Museum – a perfect introduction of the ancient Khmer art and civilization. Then, go to the Royal Palace, home to the royal family and the opulent Silver Pagoda. Browse in the Russian Market before heading to airport to take a flight to Siem Reap
On arrival in Siem Reap which is best known as the provincial capital and gateway to the ancient Angkor temples, check in the hotel and you are then free at your leisure or explore the Psar Chass – the “Old Market” for some souvenir shopping or have some drinks at Pub Street.

DAY 15: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TOUR (B/-/-)
For the early birds and photographers, we offer Angkor Wat sunrise tour. This takes place from 4.30 AM to 6.00 AM so you will need wake up early to be transferred there by tuk tuk. Afterward, you will be back to the hotel for the breakfast.
After breakfast at the hotel, hop on the car heading to the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its majestic doors and artifacts followed by the visit of monumental temple of Bayon facing the tropical forest and Baphuon and Phimeanakas Mountains. Later, visit the Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and Takeo “Jewel of Crystal”, which is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century. You won’t miss Ta Prohm Temple, which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty with its giant trees that have grown there for centuries. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was constructed by Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and dedicated them to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the Pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys and ditches is an ancient masterpiece of the architectural design and construction.
Return to your hotel later this afternoon and spend your rest of time at leisure.
